Kevin J. Cameron

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2011, Mr. Cameron served as President of Glass, Lewis & Co., a leading independent corporate governance research firm which he co-founded in 2003.  Prior to Glass Lewis, he served as General Counsel at Moxi Digital, a technology venture founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Mr. Cameron previously served as General Counsel at NorthPoint Communications, a publicly-traded broadband telecommunications company acquired by AT&T.  Before NorthPoint, he was an attorney with the corporate law firm of Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd & Evans in Washington D.C. and served as a law clerk to the Hon. James L. Buckley of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.  Mr. Cameron is a director of KERYX Biopharmaceuticals (NASD:KERX), a director of AvidBiotics, a former director of Reddy Ice, and was a founding board member of ProCure Treatment Centers, the leading provider of proton therapy treatment in the U.S. He earned a J.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. at McGill University.

Michael Malaga

Chief Operations Officer

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2017, Mr. Malaga served as the Chief Operating Officer of Level Money, a personal financial management app company sold to Capital One in 2015, where he continued as a Director of Digital Product Management. Prior to Level, he was the Chief Executive Officer and founder of LV Sensors, a semiconductor sensor company serving the automotive industry, which he sold to Atmel Corp. in 2009. Before LV Sensors, he was the Chief Executive Officer and founder of NorthPoint Communications, a company he took public in 1999 and sold to AT&T in 2001. Before NorthPoint, he served at various technology firms in the SF Bay Area. He earned a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University.

Carrie Busch

VP, Finance

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2011, Ms. Busch worked as a Business Analyst at Orbis Investment Management.  She previously held various positions at Glass, Lewis & Co., including Director of New Business Initiatives. Prior to Glass Lewis, Ms. Busch worked as a Financial Analyst at SensAble Technologies, Inc.  She earned her MBA in Finance from Wharton and a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.

Josh Gurewitz

VP, Sales & Marketing

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2018, Mr. Gurewitz served as VPGM of Sales and Marketing for Spectrum Dynamics Medical Inc., a leader in nuclear cardiology SPECT imaging platforms and applications. Prior to joining Spectrum Dynamics, Mr. Gurewitz served as VP of Marketing for ADAC Labs/Philips Medical Systems for the SPECT, PET and Radiation Therapy Planning Divisions. ADAC Labs was the global leader in nuclear cardiology with 70% market share in the US. Prior to this role, Mr. Gurewitz held multiple VP Marketing/Sales roles with Sopha Medical Systems (Nuclear Medicine Division, Buc France), Siemens Medical (Ultrasound Division, Mountain View, CA) and Marconi Medical system (Nuclear Medicine and CT Division, Cleveland, OH). Mr. Gurewitz started his career in nuclear cardiology research at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He earned his B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Buffalo and M.B.A from California Coast University.

David Eve

VP, Medical Affairs

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2013, Mr. Eve served as Vice President of Operations and Strategic Development at Soteria Imaging Services, LLC, a national leader in outpatient medical imaging. He previously served as Vice President of Technical Services, Vice President of PET Operations and Director of Facility Operations. Mr. Eve earned his B.S. in Nuclear Medicine from Wheeling Jesuit University.

Mark Leuschner, Ph.D

VP, Special Projects & Strategy

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2012, Dr. Leuschner served as Director of Operations Research at ProCure Treatment Centers, Inc. He previously served as Director of Physics Research at ProCure. Prior to ProCure, Dr. Leuschner worked as a Physics Research Professor at Indiana University and, previously, at the University of New Hampshire. Dr. Leuschner earned his Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from the University of New Hampshire and his B.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

John Vincent, Ph.D

VP, Engineering & New Product Development

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2012, Dr. Vincent served as the Chief Engineer and Electronics Department Head at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University. He previously held the position of RF Project Leader at NSCL. Dr. Vincent is a veteran of the United States Army. He earned his Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.

Michael Zari

VP, Construction & Real Estate

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2016, Mr. Zari worked as a Project Manager at the Walsh Group. Prior to the Walsh Group, Mr. Zari was the Principal Owner of Zari & Zari Consulting, LLC for 17 years where he specialized in healthcare, government, development and large commercial construction. He has won many awards for construction in his career, including being recognized by the Secretary of State of California for exceptional leadership while leading the design and construction of a world-class structure in downtown Los Angeles. Mr. Zari earned his B.A. in Business from Trinity University and an M.B.A from Tulane University.

Joseph Oliverio

VP, Clinical Affairs & Mobile Operations

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2016, Mr. Oliverio served as President and Chairman of Positron Corporation, a dedicated PET scanner manufacturer and radioisotope processing company.  He previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Positron. Mr. Oliverio also held the positions of Chief Technologist and Practice Administrator for one of the nation’s founding cardiac PET users in Buffalo, New York. Mr. Oliverio earned his B.S. in Nuclear Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his M.B.A. in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

Gary Horner

VP, Manufacturing

Mr. Horner has over 25 years of experience operating, building and maintaining Cyclotrons and their associated auxiliary equipment. Prior to joining Ionetix Corporation in 2013, Mr. Horner worked as a civilian for the U.S. Army in charge of the robotics used on the training ranges at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii where he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for his work. Prior to the U.S. Army, Mr. Horner worked at the National Superconducting Laboratory at Michigan State University, the superconducting cyclotron at Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and a cyclotron located in Denton, Texas. Mr. Horner is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School.

Anthony Stagnolia

VP, Site Management

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2017, Mr. Stagnolia served as the Chief Operating Officer of Zevacor Pharma (formerly IBA Molecular NA), a leading manufacturing and distributor of PET radiopharmaceuticals. Prior to Zevacor Pharma, he was the Chief Operating Officer at PETNET Solutions, another leading PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturer and distributor. Prior to his 11 years in PET Radiopharmaceutical industry he spent 14 years in the paper manufacturing industry in various operational leadership roles for International Paper Company.  He earned a Executive MBA from the University of Memphis and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

Bill Alvord, Ph.D

VP, Cyclotron Engineering & Manufacturing

Prior to joining Ionetix in 2018, Dr. Alvord served as Vice President of Operations at Mevion Medical Systems for 9 years. There he was responsible for the scale-up of the manufacturing systems for Mevion’s 250 MeV gantry mounted superconducting synchrocyclotrons. Prior to Mevion, he served as the Director of Cyclotron Research and Development at Siemens Healthcare Molecular Imaging. At the beginning of his career, Dr. Alvord was a member of the Electron Gun Design group for Varian’s Microwave Tube division. He holds four patents in the field of isotope target and accelerator shielding. Dr. Alvord earned his B.A. in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.S. Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
